Relieve stress and get in touch with what's going on inside. I call my approach to meditation, simple sitting because the first thing we have to learn is to simply sit.
Stressing the importance of body awareness, this is a method that restores self-regulation, and returns a sense of aliveness, relaxation, and wholeness to traumatized individuals.

Being heard by the therapist without judgment, the patient's attention can come inside to a level of awareness called the felt sense. In this heightened awareness, the exact word, image, memory, understanding, new idea, or action step naturally arises to solve a problem.
